If it’s good for your soul

Hello

Just one last blog from me this year! I just wanted to take a moment to share my gratitude with you for following this space.

Today is the Winter Solstice, so our days officially start getting longer and hopefully brighter from here on. It is a good time to restore and replenish.

It is also a great time to embrace the Hygge lifestyle when possible. It’s also a good time to take the opportunity to catch both a sunrise or a sunset, which is always good for the soul and it is the one time of the year when it is possible to see both, whether you are a Lark or an Owl.

I plan to write some intentions and to do whatever lights up my soul!

Last week I went to visit Winchester Cathedral, my favourite Cathedral, which definitely did that, as you will see from the images below.

If like me, you love the lead up to Christmas, Winchester is the place to be. It is so Festive. If you enjoy a good people watch, it’s wonderful. The Christmas Market is held within the grounds of the Cathedral and Winchester is also home to a regular market, which can be found in the High Street and that too is pretty impressive. Lights, festivities and street performers are abundant.

Christmas for me is a time to have a little digital detox and embrace all the lovely friends that surround me. It is also my favourite time curl up with a good book in the in between time - Twixmas!

I hope you too, use this final month of the year to do embrace something that is good for your soul.

As always, thank you for reading.

May you have a safe and healthy Christmas.

Kind Wishes!

Jules xx
